Gradium, founded by the cofounders of the Kyutai lab, sells text-to-speech, speech-to-text, voice design and voice cloning through an API. On October 21, 2026 it released Phonon, an open-source (Apache 2.0) on-device text-to-speech model of 31M to 40M parameters for English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. The API Free plan includes 45,000 credits a month. XS is $13 a month billed monthly ($12 billed yearly).
